I've checked continuity on all cables, checked the bulb, made sure I was in neutral, but still no luck. =/
What I did that temorarily fixed the problem was to connect the circuit of the kickstand. That way I was able to start the bike and not have to hold the clutch with the kickstand on.
I removed the white spacer inside the carb...

This cured the backfire problem. I'm very very happy with the results.
I've also drilled out the copper and turned the mixture screw out 2~360 turns (did this about 6 days ago but it did not fix backfire)
I'm going to live with no neutral light and be very carefull... I belive what is causin it is a switch inside the lower engine.
I also seem to have yellowing chrome on the lower engine...
